To this day, I have to have the covers up to my neck when I'm sleeping.

And preferably, no arm/certainly not leg, sticking out from under the covers. I'm almost 60.

Anyone else?

1. Nope, but I get nervous if my foot ends up dangling over the edge.
Something might grab me.
:scared:

3. Oh, it will!
There's no "might" about it.

I've got one under my bed too.

Sucks.

2. No covers if I'm taking a nap,
but when I go to bed I HAVE to be under the covers. I'll do whatever it takes to make it cool enough for covers and I like them to be at least over my shoulders. (so I guess that means up to my neck, doesn't it?)

4. My sisters gerbil got out one night while I was sleeping
and bit me on my knuckles. To this day I sleep with hands UNDER the pillow and covers over my head..

10. Same here. And I literally _need_ the cool side of my pillows.
If my pillows get too hot, I have to wake up andflip them over to the cool side.

11. Same here, Forkboy. I have to have a cool/cold room. When I lived in Toronto...
I'd wake up with little snowdrifts on my floor. It was great.

9. both my boys, i dont get it. even summer when they are way hot.
i can not get them to pull those covers down. oldest son heard about the dreaded Chupacabra from mexico that attacks at the neck of animals. he was like 5, 6 (older niece told him) and he told his brother. now they are 14 and 11 and still will not pull cover down.

even when there is no A/C in the heat of summer, I have to at least have a sheet up to my neck and no part of me sticking out from the sheet/cover except my face/head.

I prefer that the room is cold or cool, air flowing, ceiling fan going, that I have to cover up.

I blame it on bunk beds and my older sister that tormented us as we were falling asleep - she had that crazy "Here's Johnny" look that she would give us as she grabbed us from the lower bunk, up the side of the wall.

That was way before the movie "The Shining" was ever made, when I saw that look on Jack Nicholson's face it scared the shit out of me. I hated that movie for that reason.

13. I have to stay covered up
or one of my cats will lick me to death. He goes after any exposed skin, and he will keep licking and licking until I chase him off or cover up. I don't know whether he does it because he likes me, or if he's tasting me.
