I think I broke my digital camera...help?

I have a Canon Digital Rebel XT and I had noticed some spots on the photos I've been taking, so I tried blowing into where the sensor is to clean the dust. I don't know what I've done but now when I try to take photos in autofocus, it focuses the image, but won't take the photo. Then when I take the photo in manual, there is a black box covering half or more of the photo unless I aim it downward. So I know I must have accidentally broken one of the mirrors or something so that it's blocking when taking the image, but I don't know how to fix it.

Goddammit! This fucking thing cost a lot of money and I'm going to be pissed if I have to replace it. Any ideas?
