people who have intestinal parasites? on DU? wow. just wow.

2. i gotta a tapeworm
and i've learned a lot through my intestinal parasites support group.

the most important thing is that i no longer have to live ashamed.

seems some people here want to turn the clock back to the 1950s.

4. Such things are still around.
My wife taught in rural South Carolina in 1985 - I mean REALLY rural. She picked up ring worm from the kids (which is actually a fungus, not a creature) and it was a bitch to get rid of. Our own kids got head lice at school once - that was also a bitch. These things have nothing to do with living habits - they are a fact of living.

10. I never considered that.
It was also the first year we were together, so I don't think the line, "Honey, I can cure your ringworm with a golden shower" would have gone over that well.

Just sayin'.

7. the situation is more dire than most people have the emotional capability to accept
millions of children go to bed hungry EVERY NIGHT even here in the good old U.S. and A.
