1. Good luck with your surgery!

5. I had some serious problems with a hand surgeon in Tulsa
He operated on my ankle (fuckin' HMO). Not only did he not fix my problem, but he put me in a lot of pain for a month or so.

I don't remember his name (I might if I heard it). This was about 15 years ago and he was fairly old, so he might not still have a practice.

2. good luck! Question:
is this a bike rider injury? Something you can get from riding bikes a lot, for long periods of time?
Sounds like it could be.

Hope I'm not being too nosy.

Anyway, good luck!

3. No documented relationship....
though I rode seriously for 10 years when I was doing triathlons... Its not an injury per se, just a problem with the fascia under the skin of the palm. Oddly, seems to have a link to northern european heritage, and my g'mother was from Sweden. I noticed it as a few 'lumps' in my palms, but over the past year my little pinkie just began curling up. I noticed that when shaking hands and getting the pinkie 'caught' in the handshake. This is done with me awake using block anesthesia. The worst is that stitches stay in for 2 weeks and its a busy time on our farm.

More importantly, I hope the wife can open wine bottles!

Thanks for the support!
