1. No.
Unless I'm banging someone, I keep sexual exploits out of the office conversation.

4. Blackmail him.
Force him to give you a raise and a big pension, and then tell his wife anyway.

6. BTDT. I had to cover for him. His crazy wife called and yelled at me because my # was in his phone.
Bad juju. May very well be why I got laid off.

9. Depends. Are you in line for his job if his life starts to blow up around him?
Please note that in my response I'm assuming that it's not you who he's having the affair with.

10. OK, how about with this additional info
What if you were almost certain that he knew that you knew? That is, your certainty that he knows that you know, is equal to his certainty that you know.

Do you wait for him to ask if you know? And if/when he does, do you admit that you know?

Or do you preempt it and just come out and let him know that you know, so it's not awkward.

Because part of my thinking is that if it becomes too awkward, one becomes a target - y'know?

15. It would be analogous to
let's say you're going to your car in the parking lot and when you get to it, notice that the adjacent car has two people in it, "fooling around" -- and as soon as it registers, what you're seeing, it also registers who they are, and in that same split second while you're trying to turn away, you notice that they see you. But there's no direct eye contact, so they can't be 100% sure that you saw, but it's almost completely absurd to think you didn't.

That's not the situation, but it's comparable enough.

17. IF that is the case, I would make off handed comments about my need
for new glasses. Seriously. When I see someone in the store I don't want to speak with, when they finally bee line to me, :eyes: I say, OMG, didn't see you!!! I don't have my glasses on.

Or something like that.

I definitely wouldn't confront him. That would be employment suicide.

21. LOL, that's funny because I just got my vision corrected
In the past, that was actually the case with me, about not being able to see well! It was never an excuse, it was the god's honest truth.

And confront wouldn't be the right word - more like, get it out in the open so it's not this uncomfortable thing that hangs in the background. Because that's what I foresee. And that can become just as dangerous a situation to be in, I think.

25. I'll tell you one thing. Your telling him that you know is a constant
daily, tangible reminder that he's a cheater. He will find a way to get rid of you. My advice? Stay out of out.

34. OK. But what would you do if he asked you, outright?
If you lie, then he now knows that you're willing to lie to him, which imho is really bad.

Or do you say, well, I wasn't sure, I wasn't going to say anything...

37. I think I'd err on the side of caution and not say anything.
It could work in your favor. He might see you as very trustworthy.

It's a shitty situation to be in, no question, but I don't think you should say anything. Once it's 'out in the open'? You're a daily reminder of what he is doing.

JMHO.

39. Then there's the other potential complication
which is, what if other people also know, and start rumors, only now he suspects that you are the one doing that, since he's 98% sure you know, whereas he doesn't realize that other people also knew?

Sometimes ignorance really is bliss

14. A former boss made everyone in the company cover for her
with her husband.

It was a small consulting company (5 people) and the boss's husband wasn't allowed to know that the boss was always out with her boyfriend.

Everyone in the world knew. And everyone in the world also knew that all her employees were under orders to cover for her and claim that the boyfriend was a client.

She was always out visiting this unnamed client at odd hours it seemed, having sex is cabs, get totally wasted in public, and making a fool of herself.

They took photos of principle stewart making out with a women who was not his wife. When they realized they were not going to graduate with the restt of the class they paid him a visit.
It was cool seeing them march with the rest of the class.

Just how much of a raise do you need?

The freak I married. All part of the born again-ness after the CABG in 2006.

Kill. Me. Now.

Fortunately, I know the Bible backwards and forwards, so he doesn't discuss it with me. And, I'm devout, just not a born again.
