Boston DUers - Need restaurant advice
I'm coming up this weekend for my daughter's school fashion show, its also her 20th birthday today. We want to take her, her models, and a few friends out for a bite after the show Sat night. I need to find an inexpensive place where I can take a group of 10. Maybe a good pizza place?
The show is in the Back Bay area but restaurant doesn't have to be there. Brookline, JP or even on Newbury are all options.
Any suggestions? Beside the obligatory Olive Garden?

3. That was an option
Looks a little small and might be hard to get seats for everyone.

7. Young people LOVE Ethiopian/Eritrean cuisine!
(Well I did.) http://cambridge.zami.com/asmara Granted, you didn't list Cambridge as one of your possible locations, but this one's in Boston proper: http://www.addisredsea.com/ More expensive, though.

12. Hadn't thought of that
There are a few vegetarian's in the group, so that might be a choice for something different.

15. I second The Elephant Walk
I went there back when it was a new place in Union Square and was there last year with friends -- no change.

11. Do you think we can get a table(s) on a Sat night?
If so, that would raise it to the top of the list

13. Go to little italy. But make a reservation. Then you can take over the whole restaurant.
Those restaurants are tiny.

14. Addis Red Sea or Thai Basil
Addis Red Sea is a cool Ethiopian place. They actually have two restaurants, one on tremont St. in the South End, and another on Mass. Ave in Cambridge.

http://www.addisredsea.com/menu_index.html

Thai Basil is a surprisingly affordable little place on generally swanky and overpriced Newbury St. The phuket noodles alone are worth the trip.
