It was kinda shocking to see the WTC buildings at the end. But it looks like the White House was attacked instead of the buildings in the alternate reality, since Obama was moving into the NEW White House.

-Apparently, Peter really died back in 1985 after he got sick. Walter went into the alternate reality and brought "alternate reality Peter" back to this reality. That's why Peter can't remember being sick when Walter brings it up.

We already know

- The World Trade Center still stands
- The White House was destroyed at some point in time (the Shanksville plane reached it, and the NYC planes failed to hit the Towers?)
- Barack Obama's hair is even grayer
- President (Teddy?) Kennedy will be addressing the UN
- Len Bias never developed a habit for the nose candy (or he kicked it early enough that it never killed him)
- The economic crisis has reached such a point that the Stock Market has been closed for all of May, and the end of April

I'd say earning his third doctorate in Advanced Physics, having stayed well away from politics.
