You don't have to rub your greasy fingers all over my computer screen just to point something out to me. I'll be fine figuring out what you're talking about with a little non-contact pointing in the general direction of an item of interest, thank you very much.

1. Somebody at work uses a red pen!

marks the shite outta my screen and moves on- If I have to interact with them I go to their office now exclusively so it won't happen.

3. Think what it will be like if touch screens become the norm.

I've got an iPhone now, and I don't even like my own fingerprints on it. I'm constantly polishing the screen with my shirt or the leg of my pants. :)

4. I hate touch screens just FOR that reason!

My favorite is the card reader things at stores with the touch screen pen for the signature. Every once in a while you find one where the best you can get out of it is something like an "X" because idiots used ball point pen to sign in the little box and fucked up the screen! Most of them look like it has happened more than once, and the worst have scribble indentations from all of the abuse.

They don't even look at signatures anymore. I swear you could sign "Fuck you, man" and they would accept it.
