8. A 1200, no doubt
and I recognize that AT cart...I had that same cart on a Pioneer PL-518 when I was a kid. Really good-sounding cartridge.

4. When you said "fun" I thought for sure you were doing something truly creative
like putting the camera on multishot, bracketing, timer release and placed on the turntable at different speeds for rotational shots of you and the room :D

18. And the shutter is tied to the activation of the flash.
Ever watched a show or movie that has a strobe light going off during movement in a dark room? Everything is caught "frozen" so to speak no matter how fast they're moving. That's also how photographers of high-speed photography get slow-motion of things like bullets firing and hummingbirds wings in motion. The flash freezes the motion for all still images :)

If it's a digital camera you use, nothing is lost other than some time finding out if you can do that, right? ;)

23. We had a huge console tv and turntable, don't remember the brand.
It was made from real wood, and so damn heavy.

It was our first color tv.
