Your favorite Star Trek: TNG characters?
These are my top 3:

1. Q.
(Face it, he was simply a gas later on!)

2. Data.
('Nuff said)

3. Lxwana Troi.
(She was a hoot and a half.)

Picard and Riker are way down my list, and Wesley Crusher EARNED his spot on the bottom!

1. Definitely with you on Q and Data
Even though I am a lot more like Data (apart from my weird sense of humor), I think I'd be a VERY interesting member of the Q Continuum. :P

2. Wesley Crusher
I kid, I kid.

1) Reginald Barclay

2) Worf

3) Either Q or Lwaxana Troi.

Though I think Geordi LaForge deserves an honorable mention for being able to spout all that technobabble nonsense with a straight face.

3. Guinan. I'd have loved to have been Guinan
Lwxana Troi, Data, and I love Jean-Luc!

16. Whoopee for Guinan!
She was a great character. Whoopee said she grew up loving Star Trek and it was a real thrill for her to be on the show.

7. Q, The Borg, and Worf.
Of actual crew members, Worf is the only one
that stood the test of time.

As enemies, the Borg are the best Trek "bad guys" ever conceived.

And Q was ALWAYS a gas, IMHO.

8. Data and Pulaski (Barclay gets an honorable mention)

Worf and O'Brian are high on the list as well, but mainly because of DS9.

(Edited to repair complete incomprehensibility...)

Data
Data
Data
Data
Data

:-)

Also like Picard, Guinan, and Worf.

10. Worf was the most boring klingon ever.
Every time they had a different Klingon on the show they were always having more fun that Worf. All Worf did was whine about his honor.

Q was the best alien entity ever.

The Borg was awesome

Data was my favorite. His emotion chip made him annoying tho

Least favorite would be a tie between Deanna Troi and Wesley.

18. Huh. Worf was my favorite character.
There's something terribly charming, tragic and amusing about a character whose narrow view of things repeatedly collides with real life. Watching them cope is magnificent fun. Data had some of this going on, too, but Worf was hilarious.

It's not unfair, though, to say that Worf was a boring Klingon. That's the paradox that made him so enjoyable, IMO.

13. With a little defense of Wesley
One man's earned bottom, looked on by a different perspective, may be an earned top.

14. Picard and Q, I would say
being the captain, Picard was the focal point of the show... while Q was always both entertaining & infuriating.

17. Picard & Data...my two favorites but also the best actors.
Third place to Worf's brother simply for the line, "I will try some of your burned replicated bird meat", in the episode where he comes to the Enterprise to recruit Worf to avenge their family name. I say it every year before Thanksgiving turkey. Yeah, I'm a geek.
