1. Mick spent the month before we got him living in an Igloo on a sheep farm

He seemed perfectly cool with that.

I can't imagine getting one of those monstrosities for a dog.

He usually sleeps on the couch or in his "happy place" (soft-sided crate in our closet), and Beag sleeps in a crate with a scrap of rug and some old sheets/towels on the bottom.

2. Sapphire has a dog house that she rarely uses. She prefers a lawn

chair on the covered porch. The only time she goes in her house is when it's really cold (below 20F) or if rain is blowing up on the porch.
