1. Or else someone is filming a haunted house film where you work...
Don't open any closed doors...

4. Crazy winds
I went out like an hour ago to pick up some lunch, and it was sunny (rainy all this morning, though). And now the wind is going nuts.

Last time the power went out (last week), it fried some of the computer stuff. I just got everything back up and running yesterday. I hope it doesn't get fucked up again.

6. Well, you know I live on open land.
Nothing to break the force of the wind. Good golly, but it feels and sounds like hurricane-strength. The whole dang house is howling.

7. Weather.com says they're 13 mph here
Clearly, weather.com is lying. I went out to smoke, and I could hear branches breaking off in the woods left and right.

5. We have the wind too.
Oak branches are down and apparently there has been damage reported all around the city. It sucks.

10. Have aliens been spotted in your vicinity lately?
And do you have a passport that is valid for extra-dimensional travel?

11. Either aliens
or Godzilla.....

You should be able to leave work early in either case. It's the law.
