This is great. I just typed in my date of birth to see what would happen, and one of the things that came up was the local sunrise/sunset times on that day. I just found out that the time of my birth, 4:06am, was also the official sunrise of the day.

3. Seems more for finding facts and figures right now.

Not a web search engine by any means. Google has been kind of going this way lately but Wolfram|Alpha seems to have trouble with non-US data - I keyed in "size of London" expecting the area that the Greater London area occupies, but Wolfram|Alpha didn't come up with it, but Google did. But Wolfram|Alpha's really good for mathematical data: I plugged in "1663 square kilometres as square miles" - Wolfram|Alpha didn't miss a beat but Google asked me if I meant the same question a different way before it would give me the answer.
