Poll question: Who wants us to tie up Thomcat? Video?

ok, so there are 2 of us here trying to pack up things for Thomcat's upcoming move.

and he keeps helping...and making the "OW!" noises...and I really hate to hear that soundtrack from him. REALLY HATE IT.

he has been warned, repeatedly, that if he does not stay back and not hurt himself that we are getting the tape out.

Thom has decided to leave it up to the DU'ers...so I ask, "Should we tape him to his chair again, and do you want it to be videotaped?"


Please note...this is all in good fun. Thom is my closest friend and I would NEVER do anything to cause him more pain.

This is the last time they tied me up. They don't want me helping because they don't want me hurting myself. It's a wonderful sentiment and I really appreciate it, but my rule is that people can help me, not do things for me. I have to do as much as I can for myself.

39. I'm being a good boy!

I'm brushing the cats and dogs to keep them happy and occupied while they do the moving right now. The most work I'm doing is sorting some stuff. I promise! :)

We have a thunderstorm coming and I can already feel it. I've been feeling brittle and swollen all day, so I am making more bad sound effects than normal. But I'm doing my best to be good and keep the hurting to a minimum.

I am very, very fortunate. I have wonderful people helping me with this packing and moving, including some DUers who will be here next weekend for the final move of the furniture. It is definitely going to be finished on time. I could not have done this without them.

Well, it is Monday AM and I am getting ready to make the drive back to CT.

Thomcat 'seems' to have learned his lesson ...somewhat. He did behave the remainder of last weekend, and my videographer / partner in crime had to leave early yesterday am for a family event. SO...no taping, for now...

BUT...

we still have NEXT WEEKEND! The weekend of the big move...and the weekend that many DU'ers will be on hand to help us out! So don't give up hope. Thomcat may still have his date with the surgical tape ;-)
