Is American Idol over? If so who won
I am always curious if the winners ever do anything again. I am not much into culture, but as far as I can tell AI is the end of their 15 minutes of fame.

1. There is a Oscar winner
and a Tony nominee that came from that show. For some, it's hardly the end of their 15 minutes. For some, yes, the gig is up after the show is done. But, imo, some very talented artists came from that show.

are both doing well. Some of the top runner-ups like Aiken, Daughtry & Jennifer Hudson have all gone on to be (arguably) more famous then some of those who took first place.

Then there are the Rubin Studdards & the Taylor Hick's of the show who win only to never be seen or heard from again!
