What's in your arsenal for the ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE?
Let's see

First off a Mossberg 500 Tactical shotgun

Walther P22 Pistol

A Tavor 21 carbine

For short work, a katana and a K-Bar

And for long distance targeting, a 50-cal sniper rifle

How about you?

Edited on Thu May-21-09 10:53 PM by elshiva
Actually, it's the Canadian version of the DVD! It's got an English and French blurb on the back. "Shaun et Les Zombies." Also, it has the Canadian rating 18A. :)

Actually, it's a British movie. Nick Frost and David Pegg:

If it's the French tittle then I'm not

surprised I haven't watched it...in French. It sounds like the name

of a kid show.:) Canadian rating 18A? Is there some hard core porn action

in that movie ? The Silence of the Lamb and the remake of Dawn of the Dead

are both rated 16.Well at least here in Quebec, the French-Canadian province.

I couldn't say about the rest of the country to be honest.

8. Zombie Apocalypse 101: What's worse than 10 zombies lurching toward you?
10 burning zombies lurching toward you. The fire won't reduce them to ashes instantly, so unless you're on a high wall and out of harm's way, creating a walking group of burning ghouls is a recipe for disaster.

At least, that's that the Zombie Survival Guide taught me... I think it sounds like fun personally.

19. I know a lot of zombie "experts" say swords and machetes are a good idea...
Edited on Thu May-21-09 11:03 PM by LostInAnomie
... but I disagree. A human neck would be incredibly hard to cut through on the first strike. It would also require a fairly wide open area to be able to swing effectively. Plus, severing a head doesn't necessarily damage the brain. It's possible you would have zombie heads on the ground biting at your ankles.

I think a military grade hatchet/tomahawk would be a better alternative. It would be much easier to puncture the skull than with a sword.

Edit: A brush axe would be a good pick too.

22. I'd choose capacity over caliber.
Since a headshot is all that's required, I'd probably go with twin Glock 34s since I can get 30 round mags, even though it's just a 9mm. I'd also go with an AR-15 where I can double-up on banana clips, which basically gives me 2x30 mags with only a 2 second swap.

Since I'm living on a boosted cat or sailboat, I'd only be in danger when I had to go for supplies. I'd have 120 rounds available without even reloading, because keep in mind, you have to retain your empty clips. They don't grow on trees.

Edited on Sat May-23-09 04:16 AM by kentauros
:D

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pxjnl1yuXk&feature=related

The Zorg ZF-1 is a podbased Smartgun.

It is manufactured by Zorg Industries and is a major plot motivator for the Mangalore warriors and their quest for honorable revenge. The ZF-1 is featured prominently in a demonstration for the Mangalores by Jean-Baptiste Zorg as follows: Lightweight, the handle is adjustable for easy carrying, is ambidextrous, it breaks down into four parts undetectable by X-Ray, and is ideal for quick and discrete interventions.

Further, its firepower abilities have a titanium recharger, a 3000 round clip with bursts of three to 300, which with the Replay Button (another Zorg invention), the operator can fire one shot and, by pushing the Replay, sends every following shot to the same location. The ZF-1 also contains a rocket launcher, an arrow launcher with exploding or poisonous gas heads, a net launcher, a flamethrower, and the "Ice Cube System" which seems to be a freeze gun which fires a cloud of liquid nitrogen.
