Poll question: What's your favorite color?

It's against the joke rules to explain jokes, but the last time I did this http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=105x3150320 nobody got it. (Also, there were 6 rather than 5 colors on DU polls; the change being retroactive, my old poll's a lot funnier now.) So in case like respondents then you don't notice immediately, the only colors on the poll are... the colors on the poll. Hardeeharhar, I know; it was a simpler world back then in 2004...

15. I wouldn't say you are; apparently only those of us who were here for the transition

from DU1 to DU2 remember the exhilaration of the first polls, and the goofy fun we had with them. Once you get used to it, it's part of the landscape, and riffing on the fact that the same five colors repeat on the poll is like making a joke about the sky being blue. Or something. Then again, as I note in the OP (which apparently nobody read), nobody got it in '04 either.:P

My kitchen is a spice/gold color. You could go with a saddle tan. My bedroom is that color, and it's the same tone as the sage and spice.
