"And that's when the crapalanche ensued..."
This is the last line fo a story told to me by a friend.

He started the story with eating dinner at Panda Express (such stories never end well).

And he has a problem with IBS.

He got as far as a McDonald's restroom, and had his pants halfway down when......

Apparently, he spent over half an hour washing down the bathroom stall, and washing his clothes off in the other, cleaner toilet.

1. Oh hell. Thank God my IBS is just pain and none of that... shit.
"Crapalanche." Heh, it's a great word though I feel badly for your friend. Really badly. Ask him if he's tried hypnosis. My IBS was not responsive to any meds whatsoever but this CD-based hypnosis program got rid of 100% of my symptoms about 90% of the time. When they come back, I do another session or two and am pain free. It's been over four years since being cured and I am eternally grateful.

Crapalanche!

2. He does colon cleansing and swears by it. Unfortunately....
He's currently in a job that pays poorly and can't afford treatments. I doubt he afford hypnosis at this stage, either. I'll mention it to him, though.

3. He'll probably think it's dumb,
but he should do the research. IBS is one of the few illnesses where hypnosis has been proven to help, sometimes dramatically. The tape package is by Michael Mahoney and when I bought it it was eighty bucks, a lot of money. Best eighty bucks I ever spent, seriously.

4. Actually, he's big into alternative medicine.
And since he admits that stress is a big component of his IBS, I think he'll recognize the potential value of hypnosis.
