1. Supply & demand
I think most of the cost is tied up in those heavy duty flat boxes that are impossible to fold up and fit into the garbage bag afterwards.

Anyway, home made mini pizzas on English muffins give you more variety and better value. Plus, what better way to get rid of that 1/4 can of spaghetti sauce?
