2. Since I don't have any idea how old you are I'm wondering were you a child
or teenager when you saw his picture previously?

4. Genes are creepy like that.
Sometimes we look like replicas of someone on the family tree -- in my case it's a grandparent.

19. Mirror, mirror, on the wall, I AM my mother after all!
Everyone said I looked like my mother until we found a picture of my paternal grandmother taken when she was eighteen and compared it to my picture at the same age. Uncanny!

14. My youngest grandchild looks so much like my ex that everyone
comments on it. I could see it in the delivery room. Looking at baby pictures of the grandfather, you could believe that they were pictures of the grandson done to look like an antique photo. When you see them together IRL, it's almost uncanny.

5. I saw one recently of my Mother,
who passed on when I was 8. My daughter saw it, and said that my Mother and I are clones.

10. cool!
I guess it can be kind of neat. I wish there weren't so many stalkers on the web or I would show a side by side of me and my natural Father.

7. I look a lot like my dad, too
If you look at a picture of him when he was in his thirties and me now you'd think it was the same guy. I'm alright with that, dad's a handsome fellow even at 57 :D. What I'm more concerned about is the health problems that he's had. In the last year he's had neck surgery, back surgery, and complications from surgery resulting in a lung abscess. He was off work for about 6 months. My mom also has degenerative back disease, so, yeah, I'm loading up on the clacium and vitamin D.

17. I know, I know... (((Babykins!)))
If it's any comfort my mom always said, "It's what's IN your head, not what's ON your head that counts." Even though my daily experience TO THIS VERY DAY points in another direction... :SIGH:

8. my dad told me about a 16 yr old English brother I had when I was 21
Mark was the product of an affair - when I finally met him, it astounded me that he looked more like my dad than any of my four other brothers - quite eerie
