I've used the Nokia tune--you know, Gran Vals--as my alarm clock tone since I got my first cell phone years ago. Well, I got a new phone this past week, and the company, for some damn reason, doesn't carry Nokia phones anymore. Not one. Something about the quality of the product.

So, I get something called a UT Starcom. Seems okay. Free with the contract. Has a camera. Tiny little thing. I go to set the tone for the alarm clock, and find one that seems okay.

But, think what you will of me, I hate waking up to anything but the Nokia tune. Seriously. This other thing just isn't the same. I suppose I'll adjust....but I don't want to!!!

Is there any way one can download the Nokia tune to a non-Nokia phone? I just read the Wiki article about the tune, which says it's trademarked, even though it's a phrase from a classical waltz written well before Nokia came along. I checked the list of Realtone Jukebox, which I could download to my phone, but don't find it there.

So, anyone know how I can do this? Or do I just have to accept change? :grr:
