Here's an inspirational song for you gardeners
Home Grown Tomatoes

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0C4FOL1qIw

There aint nothin in the world that I like better
Than bacon n lettuce n homegrown tomatoes
Up in the mornin, out in the garden
Get you a ripe one, dont pick a hard 'un
Plant 'em in the spring, eat em in the summer
All winter without em is a culinary bummer
I forget all about the sweatin and the diggin
Every time I go out and pick me a big un

Home grown tomatoes, home grown tomatoes
What would life be like without homegrown tomatoes
Only two things that money cant buy
That's true love and home grown tomatoes

You can go out to eat an thats for sure
But theres nothin a homegrown tomatoe wont cure
Put em in a salad, put em in a stew
You can make your own tomatoe juice
You can eat em with eggs, eat em with gravy
You can eat em with beans, pinto or navy
Put 'em on the side, put em in the middle
Home grown tomatoes on a hot cake griddle

Home grown tomatoes, home grown tomatoes
What would life be like without homegrown tomatoes
Only two things that money cant buy
That's true love and home grown tomatoes

If I's to change this life I lead
You could call me Johnny Tomatoe Seed
Cause I know what this country needs
Home grown tomatoes in every yard you see
When I die dont bury me
In a box in a cold dark cemetary
Out in the garden would be much better
Cause I could be pushin up a home grown tomatoes

Home grown tomatoes, home grown tomatoes
What would life be like without homegrown tomatoes
Only two things that money cant buy
That's true love and home grown tomatoes

Now if the rain would ever stop ;)

3. Hey you!
:*

I was close to you a few days ago. No wait.. New York isn't just a city huh? ;)

Maybe I'll bring you up some 'maters. Just look for an overfed long-haired leaping gnome.

6. NYC isn't close to me, Gomer.
:P

What were you doing in the big city?

What does an overfed long-haired leaping gnome look like exactly?

10. I honestly can't remember the last time
I've been mauled by a strange man. I guess that means I'm long overdue.

Next month, I'll be in my own house. I should let all the strange men know this. :D

11. I prefer the term.. pawed
hey wait! I wouldn't be strange.. hmm.. ok.. there is now sensible way I can talk myself through this without being strange.

But.. a stranger? Hi, friend! See?

I was initially going to just smooch up your face and say hi, but now the pawing is on!!

18. Yeah well, yesterday
I took three of the plants out. It's getting too hot, no more yield. Two plants with greenies still standing, but that's pretty much the end of it.

But, I do have a lovely canteloupe vine with baby canteloupes on it already.:)
