I just realized I've been spelling a word wrong for years

The word is "remuneration". My spell check on MS Word just told me this and I confirmed this on a few online dictionaries.

And for DECADES, now I've been using the word "reNUMeration".

You can't imagine how dismayed I am to hear this.

12. I once worked for a Commander in the Navy who insisted on spelling "Tomorrow" "Tomarrow"....

...it always amazed me because I mean, it doesn't even look right. He had a PHD from the Naval Postgraduate School and everything.
