I just got 10 pounds of food-grade diatomaceous earth!

Yay! Now what should I do with it?

I'm thinking of grinding up some hot dogs and mixing some DE in and feeding it to my dog.

But then what?

Supposedly good to remove/prevent intestinal parasites. And source of minerals.

I use it to sprinkle around the house as an ant barrier - it's a very good dessicant and bugs don't like walking through it.

I'm trying to think of all the creative uses for it - 10 pounds is a lot!

We use it in our pool filter and I spread it around the lawn when I back flush the filter

That stuff is VERY dangerous to pets and humans.

The food grade is processed differently.
