How muggy are you?
Here in my part of NH, we've had 12 straight days of rain every day and sticky, gooey, sweaty humidity. Strange bugs I've never seen before are showing up in the kitchen; everything seems to smell BAD. I'm taking three showers a day. Is anybody else having this much fun?

guess I shouldn't complain anymore. It's been hot and little more humid than normal but not that bad.

I hope it cools off for you soon. that is miserable weather.

7. Oklahoma in August
This is normal. Hot, sticky, muggy, smothering. 99% humidity. Come visit...I promise, you'll go home to NH and appreciate it. What was the humidity there? And if you think that's bad, just be glad you don't live down in New Orleans. God, I think that's the most smothering place in the country.

10. My printer choked on it's paper.
Now THAT'S humid! Went to unjam the thing, and the paper was limp and FELT wet. I put on clothes this AM, and they were damp.
I told myself "Self, I don't give a shit HOW cool it's been getting at night, this wake up and everything's dripping crap has got to stop."
So on goes the AC, not because it's hot, but because I don't like mildew...

Night-time temp is around 65, dewpoint is around 65, fog and 100% humidity...

11. Don't you have Air conditioning?
And even if you're not used to this weather, at least have it just in case.

13. Central New York checking in...
It barely stops raining long enough for me to cut the grass. I'm whacking weeds almost every day, cutting the grass every five days (and it looks like it's been two weeks when I finish), bringing in bag after bag of tomatoes, staking up the aforementioned tomato plants after they've pulled the cages out of the ground, heeeeeeeeellllllllllp meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I love gardening and all that, but I also like to sit on the back deck and admire my garden. Isn't that what it's all about?

14. Same in NC
I've been doing yardwork during the days, and I've got an ever-growing stack of brush that really needs to get started being burned, but EVERY AFTERNOON it rains, and then again during the night - I couldn't get the pile to catch with kerosene yesterday. More of the same called for today and tomorrow. At least I'm getting some sunshine during the day, but this rain's GOTTA STOP!
