Washington's Crossing, which they named a town after the spot where it happened, is in Pennsylvania just south of New Hope, PA in Bucks County. Nowhere does Bucks County border the state of Delaware - that's all New Jersey there. Ironically the RIVER is named Delaware, there were also native Americans from the Delaware tribe and some guy name Lord De La Warr (not sure of the spelling). In fact the whole Philadelphia region including Philadelphia is commonly referred to as the Delaware Valley because the main river that cuts thru this whole region is the Delaware River.
