Have you ever found yourself liking something you never ever thought you'd like?
I just never got into Woody Allen movies. And hey, some people in my life considered that a serious character flaw. I recently stumbled on to a couple of his latest projects and really really liked them. Now I can't even wait until "Untitled London Project" comes out in 2010.

Of course, there isn't a snowball's chance in hell I'll ever develop an artistic appreciation of Nickelback.

2. OMG, it must be something totally unhip and socially unacceptable. Oh wait, I know...!
You got Rick Rolled and became a Rick Astley fan, didn't you?

3. Octopus sashimi
Although, I'm not sure if I can eat it anymore, since shrimp/lobster tried to kill me.

4. I am a huge sashimi/sushi fan, but can't bring myself to eat octupus.
I would think you'd be safe with it though because of shrimp/lobster being creatures of the shellfish variety and octupus having a much softer encasement.

Do octopus, shrimp and lobster eat the same things? I once heard that people who are allergic to shellfish are actually allergic to what shellfish eat. Have no clue if it's true of not. I could eat shrimp and lobster by the ton so I've never bothered to find out if that's total bullshit.

5. It's surprisingly good
I'll eat just about anything seafood, though.

I think they all eat basically the same things. LostinVA says I have to get allergy tested.

I could always eat it by the ton, too, but then one day it decided to hate me. First the lobster, then the shrimp a few months later. I blame my mother. She's allergic to shellfish, and well, she's usually at fault for most things.

11. Fuck them.
They taste good.

If it's in the water, I have no problem killing and eating it. This is why I don't eat birds or mammals. I couldn't kill them.

I have to say that I absolutely hated them for what they did to Napster and refused to listen to them for the longest time but I have to say that Death Magnetic which I purchased for $10 amid all the hype, fucking rocks. :headbang:

13. Cheese
I had a bad experience with pizza at a birthday party when I was like 7 or 8, and shunned it for about 20 years (including a period of about 4 years when I worked in pizza places!), until I was over at my boss's house for dinner one night and home made pizza was the only option. I sucked it up, had some, and discovered I'd been a fool.

I'm still suspicious of blue cheese though.

20. Yes. Kerry Meyers, who hated me in high school because I was involved with her
best friend. A few years later, I played in an amateur basketball league, and there she was in the stands. We went out for beer after a couplde of games and became friends.

I'm gone for a while. Will be back later.
