Vibes for my puppy girl Jessie please...

Jessica Lindsey bindsey boo is sick.

She came up to me a bit ago, barked for my attention while standing on the tile floor (who says dogs aren't smart?) and then pee pee'd on the floor-- blood and clots.

Jess has had bladder stones in the past so my heart exploded. We got her in to the vet. On the positive side she is acting normal is well hydrated and is eating. This has led the Vet to believe she has a bladder infection. She's on Antibiotics for a few days. If the blood does not appear to be clearing up they will look further. I am a bit jumpy due to her medical history, but I am also relieved that it appears to be an easy fix.

So all your best "it's just a bladder infection, phew" vibes would be appreciated... and if Jessie could she would come up and rest her head on your knee and gaze soulfully up at you-- hoping you will share whatever that numminess is that you are eating.

She totally made a liar out of me too. I told the tech that she wouldn't pee for them because she is shy and I've never been able to collect for her crystal check. They took her out and were back in like less than two minutes with like a gallon of pee. She loves doing that to me. :)

She was quite flirtatious with the staff at the new vet's office. I love the new doctor. It's very homey. She only tried to slip her collar once.

The vet couldn't believe how friendly and cuddley she was. She recommended that we shave her for the Texas heat... WHAT?
She's indoors except for pee time so I declined. Could you imagine a shaved sheltie? She'd never speak to me again.

Jessie is far easier, even with the illness, than the kittens are. I've removed them from about 8 precarious perches so far tonight. They are not amused.
