If you are at a loose end, here's how to kill that virus thingy…

In most cases, an infection will be indicated by the presence of the registry key:

"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\windows auto update" with a value of msblast.exe.

If this key is present, remove it using Start -> Run -> regedt32

(If you're infected, terminate the running copy of msblast.exe using the Task Manager.)

Find and delete msblast.exe

BE SUPER CAREFUL USING REGEDIT!!! If you don't have at least a functioning knowledge of computers(not trying to offend, but SERIOUSLY) PLEASE don't even try it, let someone you know and trust do it for you. I'd be really unhappy if this info caused anyone to break their PC. :(:(:(

I ran all my anti-virus last night, and I still found it in my registry, so even if you think you've gotten it all you might not have.

2. I've Got Another Suggestion...

...Go grab a bootable Linux CD that lets you run Linux without installing it, risk free. Even if your hard disk is a total worm-ridden mash, you've got a solution.
