I have a neighbor kid who reminds me of Joseph Gribble from King of the Hill.
I found this out when I was at the townhouse pool complex yesterday.

Little bastard has all the weird mental quirks of the Joeph character, laughs almost EXACTLY like him, is a frickin' moron just like him, and even looks a lot like him!

It's REALLY unsettling...

1. I would be more worried if you had Dale as your neighbor
and as far as "Joseph" goes, pretty typical for a teenager high on testosterone.

2. Oh, "Joseph" is a little extreme, even for a teenaged boy...
And as far as Dale-Clones go, I have plenty of neighbors like that. They all tend to work as aerospace engineers for some reason. Probably all freepers, too.

4. Let's put it this way: He was upset at me when I yelled at him for...
throwing firecrackers at people in the pool area. He seemed to think that exploding shit is great fun. I had to threaten to physically remove him from the vicinity (I'm a big guy; you shoulda seen his eyes widen...).

5. Yeah, that's a little up there.
fire crackers unto themselves is pretty normal but getting angry for not being allowed to throw them at people, well, as Hank would say, "that boy ain't right".

6. His parents got pretty pissy with me, too.
You'd think they would try to keep control of the little monster, but apparently not. Whatever. They're renters not owners, so this is typical.
