1. We all trim them, but...
When we try to think, our bodies go haywire and they sprout out again like dandelions.

9. My best day as a hairdresser
My father had this one, insane eyebrow hair. The female members of my family begged him for years to let us trim it. He protected that damned hair like it was the frickin' royal jewelry.

So anyways, he used to come to me for free haircuts. The last time I gave him a trim, I was looking at him face-to-face to see if his sideburns were even. I don't know what possessed me but I reach right up with my scissors and snipped that wild hair. The look on his face was worth every penny I spent for beauty school.

Miss you, Dad. You stubborn shit.

right in the middle of his eyebrow (yeah, i said eyebrow) and he absolutely refuses to get rid of it. he calls it his antenna. it's been there so long i don't even really notice it anymore, but that took several years.

10. When my basil gets close to flowering
I cut it back by about a third and each place I cut, two new branches form.

(seriously, it's okay if people have heavy/thick brows. That used to be fairly normal when I was a kid, before the tweezing thing got so out of control. It was healthier for society to see a diverse range of normal instead of getting the message that if you don't look like ________ you are "wrong.")

I looked up how to do threading and it's awesome! I have to show blogslut jr. how to do it. Now, we'll never have to worry about losing tweezers ever again!

16. Equally valid: Why do some women not trim their mustaches?
Be honest, we've all seen it along with the long chin hairs. When I was an adolescent teenage boy I was jealous because I saw some women who had a better mustache than I could grow. Hell, some still do and I'm 57.

20. why does anyone trim anythign
I will grant you, some seem more disturbing than others, and I like the look of clean smooth skin as much as anyone, but the whole shaving/tweesing/waxing/etc crazyness is just that. For hygiene, I can accept things. For aesthetics, I find it very disturbing, even when I enjoy the resulting look. The shit we humans do to our bodies. If a dog starts chewing off all its hair, we get it a cone collar.

21. Often wondered that myself
I think some men (especially of an older generation) think it is effeminate to trim them. :eyes:
