My firefox has gone bezerk!
It wont leave me signed in to anything, even though my preferences say leave me signed in. It does it to DemocraticUnderground, facebook, Pogo, Yahoo, and everything else that I leave myself logged into. It all started when my firefox updated last week ago or so.

I cant find anywhere that addresses this issue in my internet options. Anybody know what I need to do to leave myself signed into my websites?

Thanks !!

1. Sounds like you turned off cookies.
You need cookies to be enabled or it won't save sessions. Windows Defender might be the culprit. Turn THAT bullshit off.

2. well
my cookies appear to be enabled. Where does windows defender come from? This does not happen when I use IE. In fact I have been using IE because of it, but I really prefer Firefox.

5. Defender is a bastard - find it and disable it.
It might have a little gray-brick castle-like icon in the system tray. If not, Start->All Programs->Windows Defender. Turn the damn thing off. As with all things Micro$oft, it has it in for anything non-Micro$oft. Get that problem out of the way before you try to diagnose ANYTHING else.

Make sure JavaScript is turned on also.

If that doesn't work, I'm a little confused. I use Firefox exclusively (on PC, MAC, and Linux). I love it and don't have any problems with the current version.

3. Try going to tools, options, privacy, then
check to see what it says for cookies under "keep for." Sounds like a problem with your cookie settings.

8. This might be a stupid question
but do you have private browsing disabled? Ctrl+Shift+P to toggle it.
