The plural for "deer", is "deer".

The plural for "orange", is "orange"


I bought a bag of orange.
I just ate 3 orange.

There is no such thing as "oranges".

I looked up moose, and it says the plural is moose.


When I looked up orange, it mentions nothing about a plural.

"Please be aware that the traditional plural for "orange" is the same as the base word. Recent slang erroneously indicates that the word "oranges" is plural, however, this is not generally accepted".

I've looked at multiple sources. I've scanned pages upon pages of google searches. I can find nothing suggesting that the plural of orange is "orange".

However, I have found many links showing that the plural is oranges.
