What's on your mp3 player/stereo/TV?
I'm listening to a collection of X-Ray Dog.
They do a lot of movie trailers, good tunes.

4. Currently listening to Chuck Klosterman's "Sex Drugs and Cocoa Puffs" audiobook
Except for talking a little too much like the Simpson's Comic Book Guy, it's really enjoyable stuff.

6. TCM: an old Dirk Bogard movie is on the tv.
Was listening to this earlier:

http://goodnightwhateveryouare.blogspot.com/2009/08/ronnie-james-dio-1958-1965-rock-n-roll.html?zx=36b0cb7fae2ad795

Kinda a depressing night...nothing is working. Instead of wanting to "Stand Up And Shout", I'm more in the mood for "Lie Down And Whine."

Maybe I'll turn off the tv and stereo and read some John Keats, just roll with the depressive mood.

10. Slayer - Read Between the Lies
Evangelist you claim God speaks through you,
Your restless mouth full of lies gains popularity.
You care not for the old that suffer,
When empty pockets cry from hunger.

Penniless from their generosity,
Sharing their money to quench your greed.
Searching for the answer to their prayers
They cry their one last wish of need.
Save me.

His spirit lives and breathes in me.
The almighty transformed to your screen.
The meanings lost in its translation,
No holy words, describe his deception.

You say you'll help us find the lord,
Tell me preacher how do you know
A simple quest for an invisible savior,
To lead us through our final prayer.
Save me.

Send your donations,
Contribute to the cause.
Luxuries,
Your righteous reward?

Praise the lord, praise god,
Is what you wish to sell.
There is no heaven without a hell.

In your mind's eye could you truly believe,
That by giving you can save your soul,
Could you be so naive!
You heal the sick, you raise the dead,
You blind the congregation
With the things you say.

Religious blackmail a deceit of trust,
That death will come and all will be lost.

Can you hear the serpent's call,
Look deep in those deceiving eyes.
Ignore the writing on the wall,
You should read between the lies.

When doubt subsides his honesty,
An inquiry, is it blasphemy?
Impure the soul, that's made to suffer,
No sermons left to hide or cover,
An empty promise, lie unfulfilled,
To steal a dream or get it killed.
They claim your trip to heavens nearby,
You may believe it but Satan wouldn't lie.

Go to this page http://wiki.cdyne.com/wiki/index.php?title=Playing_PLS_Winamp_files_in_Windows_Media , scroll down to "Downloadable Installer" and choose "MSI Installer Package". It's a small download so it won't take long. When it's downloaded just double click on it and install it. That will take about 10 seconds and it's done.

Now, go to the KXCI page you have linked in your other post and choose the second link, "Launch MP3 Stream - Format: Mp3 (m3u)". use the newest version of Windows media Player that you have. See if that works.

20. it seems to want me to install more stuff
I downloaded that and tried to start it - a pop up window came up and said I needed some kind of .NET Framework thingy and sent me to this webpage (that the firewall wasn't too happy with): http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/netframework/default.aspx

Thanks for answering, btw!

29. sorry to be such a pest
I downloaded something from the .NET page and then when I opened it a wizard started for downloading yet more - and this is 53 MB, which will take 4 or more hours at my prehistoric dial-up speed. (if it stays connected that long - don't know if it has restart abilities or if it has to start over if I get disconnected - hence WHY I have the FDM in the first place) Does this sound correct?

19. Cobra Starship on AOL music
Not really any better than the Jonas Brothers IMO - I recommend Rooney over those two for this kind of pop/rock.

Earlier, Just Kait's EP. She's young, but I think she separates herself from Avril and has something special of her own. Awaiting a full CD.

I'm listening to the youtubes right now.

In My First Mind, and that nobody's ever heard of this demonstrates why "Classic Rock" sucks.

And a little pre-top 40 Fly Like an Eagle, the jam that preceded the hit.
