It is a job.

6. Pretty.
I have lots of sunflowers growing.

The big kind and smaller ones from the sunflower seeds I buy for the birds.

Giving the bees someplace to hang out.

12. I also have some kind of wild vine growing on the fence the bees like to.
It grows little balls that start green, then red and finally black.

There are lot of wild sunflowers growing in the railroad yard.

We have happy bees here.

9. Someone posted the full movie there in 15 parts.
I originally saw it on TCM some months back.

One of the final comments also stated that it's only available in Region 2 DVD. So, I guess I'll have to rip me a copy :D

11. I have been surprised what movies I have found on you tube.
You never know.

I found the really scary Haunting of Hill House.

It was made 1963, black and white.

Scared the hell out me when I was little.

Still scary, best to watch in a dark house, no one home.

You don't see any ghost, that is the best.

26. That's another favorite I got from TCM.
Even recorded it from them onto DVD, so I can share it :)
I've got Robert Osborn's commentary at the beginning and end as well.

I think the reason it works so well at scaring you is the use of sound. Almost everything is suggestion, so your imagination fills in the rest. Like that "face" on the wallpaper (or metal pattern, I couldn't tell which.) And then all the sounds in the hall, the upper floors and that "breathing" door they all watch. All the effects were superb :D

Oh, you should also look for Buñuel's El Ángel Exterminador (The Exterminating Angel) (1962)
That's a twisted premise and movie ;)

She hide in the closet while we were watching the movie, the neighborhood must have heard us.

16. Blue water.
At Galveston we have gray water until you go out a futher.

I was there in 1970 or 1969.

In August, it was cold.

Bart was being build at the time.

19. Summer is not the best time for The City
It can easily be either foggy, cold, or both. Spring and Fall are the best seasons.

It's really weird; I live about 35 miles from The City, and it can be 105* here and 70* there.

There are a bunch of micro-climates in the Bay Area.

The boat ride was really cold, I had on a little windbreaker.

It was not enough.

28. Great picture.
We never got to go the any beach on the coastline.

My friend's father was afraid of the hippies for some reason, really.

We were begging to go to the beach the whole time.

Highway 1 was beautiful.

36. I took that shot with my little point'n'shoot Canon
because the 12x optical lens is better than the kit lens on my XTi. When I'm working again, I'll have to look into getting a decent telephoto zoom.

And, unless you're using a telescope, the best times to take moonshots is when it's close to this stage, so you get more detail and don't over-expose :)

I think perhaps I am indeed going to bed now.

Don't stay up too late now :P
