2. We don't have leftovers.

Or at least not more than a few pieces. I tend to give 4 or 5 little bars to each kid, so we go through it all pretty fast. And when we occasionally have a few leftover pieces, I drop them into LyricKid's bag at the end of the night.

8. Ditto
It's like "good morning"... does not exist in my universe.

There are leftovers, there are candy. There are no candy leftovers.

There is good, there are mornings. There are no good mornings.

:D

5. We no longer give out anything for trick or treat. We were planning on being
away from home a few years ago, so we left a large pumpkin filled with candy on the porch with a note saying "take some, but leave some for others." When we got home th entire thing was gone, including the pumpkin.
Now we buy the candy and eat it ourselves. And that's our excuse.

7. This is why we buy candies that we like, too
but... earlier on COSTCO we got a huge jar with small packets - sealed - of mini pretzels. Similar to the ones they used to give on a flight. And the packets have some drawing of Halloween theme. I think these will be great. I've often felt guilty about filling the tricksters with so much candy.
