Told a few people at work that I left the company Christmas party because I was "under the weather". What I meant is that I felt a cold coming on. But everyone thought I was drunk, because the owner had put out an email (which I hadn't seen) encouraging anyone feeling "under the weather" to get a cab. Yikes.

The most common term we used way back in my fighter pilot days was 'knee-walkin'.
As in "Jeezuss, I got knee-walkin' last night.

This gave rise to the "Knee-Walk Command".
Someone would yell KNEE WALK!
And we were all obligated to drop to our knees and walk about.
Yeah, it was dumb.
So were we.
But we sure THOUGHT we were cool.
