What's your favorite Haunted House experience?

I just read a ridiculous story about an off duty cop who whipped out a gun on one of the actors in a haunted house. That, imho, is a little extreme. Personally I'm scared to death of the things, but used to work at a place that had one. We had a special day when we took kids through and showed them how the whole thing worked, and it was awesome.

The House of Shock in New Orleans is incredibly scary...or so I'm told. So since I'm such a wimp I'm eager for your stories.
