Whoa, did the Lakers stink up their home court or what? I can't understand why anyone would root for that bunch of spoiled thugs, can you Phil Jackson? And the crowd! What a poor display of sportsmanship. The Lakers for some reason have played on Christmas Day for each of the last 11 years, and are 4-7 in those games. I can't imagine what the attraction is for the league in showing the Lakers. Peee-yew!
Meanwhile, up the West Coast, the Portland Trailblazers toyed with the once mighty Denver Nuggets before blowing them out in the fourth quarter to win going away, 107-96. Of course, the Nuggets had to play the entire second half without Chauncey Billups, so it's understandable that they were outmanned, outgunned, outhustled and out-everythinged by a Blazer team that's missing Greg Oden, Joel Pryzbilla, Travis Outlaw, Rudy Fernandez, Nicholas Batum and Patty Mills.
