2. From his narrative POV, yes
But they never went for the first-person camera POV, a la Terminator or Robocop.

4. I wonder if they'd have been as accepting of a decreasingly hourglassy Counselor Troi?

6. Probably not
Since her job was to just sit there most of the time. I am glad that Jelicho finally asked her why she never wears a standard uniform!

Riker should know better though. You don't get to be fat until you make Admiral!

11. Or if you're William Shatner*...
or James Doohan...

* yes, I know he was an Admiral bumped down to Captain, but he bulked up as Captain #2 - it must have been the depression, it's too bad he was allergic to Seritonix 5.

7. Two episodes, in fact
And the first one was part of a two-episode arc, the latter (stupid) episode of which didn't even mention Data's dreams.

9. best decision: no lyrics for the TOS theme song
Supposedly Roddenberry only wrote the lyrics after the fact to get royalties for the song in addition to the composer (bit of a douchey move), but my word it would have been horrible if they actually recorded it that way.

10. That episode when they adopted casual Friday.
And Riker showed up wearing just a kilt.

That was awesome.

14. +1.
Though I really enjoyed the character, but she actually looked MUCH better in the starfleet uni.

17. Best decision - having Wesley get bayoneted through the chest
Which, sadly, was shortly nullified by the worst decision...

18. In a real Mary Sue moment, that puts him on more or less equal footing with Picard
Since the good Cap'n took one through the chest during his academy days (recounted in an episode that also featured Q. Hmm...)
