2. It is, but it's a repeat.

It's the Richard episode, which I think was the best episode of the season so far, but it's still a repeat.

I thought the idea of starting halfway through the TV season was so that we wouldn't have to go through repeats.

3. Yes - but it's a repeat
the Richard Alpert ep last i heard. I know there is NOT a new ep tonight. New on May 4th, 11th, 18th, and for some odd reason the 2 hr finale is Sunday May 23rd.

So only 4 more days of new Lost - enjoy while it lasts! (which isn't long.. doh)

4. So, what happened to the deal about starting the season in January
and running straight through all the episodes without any repeats?

7. I think the change is due to wanting to run the finale on a Sunday
that would be my guess.. and they want it in sweeps month..

9. that site says "no". But the right answer is "yes"
Making that site officially 100% wrong and useless.

8. ABC fucks with LOST fans at their own peril.
This won't piss us off enough not to tune in to the rest of the episodes, but it is still a punk move.

10. What peril would that be?
Look, if they can stuff a big fat red V plus a countdown clock under it in the middle of the screen for a whole dang ep, I think it's safe to say they can run a rerun with complete impunity. Don't ever forget: you are not a "customer" of television. You're the product they sell to their customers.

13. So here's my theory why it was a repeat
Having a repeat, as mentioned above, puts the finale on May 23rd. 23 is Jack's number. Jack is going to be the new Jacob.

14. Cryptic, man, cryptic.
The more likely explanation is that Nielsen sweeps this year are from April 29 to May 26.

Showing a repeat yesterday puts the remaining episodes and the finale right in the ratings sweet spot.

15. So they're finishing up soon.
Good. Then maybe they'll release the DVD sooner for us folks who watch it that way. I finished Season 5 last Friday.
