I move back and they hit me all at once. This sucks. Just had a 5 minute sneezing fit.

Hate. This.

3. Thanks.
Just another thing in a long list of reasons to get back out of Texas.

5. It has been bad this year.
I had three weeks of hell.

With the rain we just had I hope it feels better for everyone.

7. I'm hoping the rain makes it easier.
Looks like we have another week of it to look forward to. I love Texas thunderstorms, though. :)

8. Last night was something.
I watched the lighting from the lobby of the hospital.

The thunder was damn loud.

10. I love a thunder storm, the air feels so clean afterward.
So many animlas are afraid of thunder.

11. Oh, the smell!!
If It hadn't been completely dangerous, I would have gone for a walk. The lightning was striking extremely close to the house and you could feel the electricity in the air. I think that's what the cat disliked most.

12.  Once a group of us were at beach and lighting hit close by.
We got a tingle in our feet.

I respect lighting.

13. That's a freaky feeling.
Glad you were all okay. Whew!!

Yeah, just feeling it in the air, I knew better than to go walking in it.

It's a good thing I was blessed with common sense.

14. We were just stupid kids, old enough to know better.
Wet sand and lighting don't mix.

I didn't want you to think I would say you had no common sense!

All kids do stupid things. It's part of being a kid.

18. I never had allergies until I moved to St Louis
so, if you leave Texas again - don't come here

Apparently, it's very common for people who move to St Louis to develop allergies within 3 years.

I'd never had allergy problems before, and in my mid-20s I moved here - by my late 20s, I had developed allergies to roaches and mold. And mold spores are in the air in this area 10 months or so of the year, it seems.

I'd be happy to move away from the allergens, but I'm stuck here for a few years.

20. Thanks for that tip.
I wouldn't live in Missouri anyway. As a matter of fact, I will do everything I can in the future to avoid traveling through that state. It's not Missouri's fault. It's the state we were in when my husband died, and I just don't want to go back there.
