Is it possible for someone (with a sex addiction) to have a fetish with remote controls?

This is a male that admits to being a sex addict and goes to SA meetings - long term treatment for numerous addictions.

Last time he was here my Cox cable remote went missing. He was in the living room alone a few times. The remote was here when I got up to go downstairs, and when we parted I came back to this room and it was gone. Without going into a lot of detail, he also acted guilty about it and obtained a new one for me.

Then it dawned on me that my remote to the DVD player also went mysteriously missing several months ago after he was here. (We watched a DVD movie!)Did he take that one too, I wonder?

I am NOT EVEN interested in why such an object, (or a collection of them), would be beneficial to an addict of the sexual kind. Let's leave that to the individual imagination.

Also, he often makes inappropriate sexual remarks, despite getting no encouragement from me that his remarks are the least bit cute or funny. They're just dumb. Also reveals TMI about his addiction/escapades even though I discourage him.

Do you think it is possible to have a sexual attraction (fetish) to objects? My remote controls? :wtf:

PS - He's annoyed me in just enough other ways that I've already decided to "neglect the friendship" from now on.

PSS - No attraction there with us. We are both gay.
