There is a raccoon on my back porch.
He's pried open the bin where I keep bird seed and is stuffing his face. He's about the size of a Schnauzer. Should I ignore him or chase him away? He kind of scares me.

1. Save the bird seed for the birds
let the raccoons eat leftovers. They can be agressive so do it cautiously

Chase the little fuckers off. They will eat the bird seed and then come for your steak. And, trust me, there is nothing they can't get into.

Sorry, replied to wrong person.

2. Get a big pot and a spoon.
Bang them together.

Then put the bird seed container somewhere they can't get at it.

3. Spray him with the hose. Make him not want to ever return.

4. Depends...
Is it a republican? I would recommend an Obama poster. Should scare the crap out of it.

If not, leave it be, they can be aggressive. Just make sure that you don't leave food sources outside(feed, garbage,etc..)
