Just got done seeing 'The Princess and the Frog'

Overall, I thought it was very well done.

Cute, funny, and with likable, memorable characters. I liked the villain, and the movie had an awesome villain song. The shadow creatures were just plain creepy, and that was awesome.

I'd say it's one of the better Disney (non-pixar) animated features, and certainly the best in a decade at least that didn't have the name 'Pixar' attached to it.

What'd everybody else think? :P

1. I saw it with my daughter.

It was the first film we got to see in a theater (non-drive in). We all thought it was a lot of fun. My daughter, who was three at the time and four now, was enthralled the whole time. Her eyes never left the screen and I frequently caught her bouncing around in her seat to the music. I'm hoping that traditionally animated movies like this don't go away.

2. I liked it --

of course it had the usual Disney flaws, but overall I really liked the return to the old style of animation and the music was great.

The death scene made me cry. Not my 5-year old, me lol.

3. Yeah, but after seeing it 436 times, I'm getting real turned off!
