Yardbirds (with Jimmy Page on guitar)1966 - "Heart Full of Soul"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kc0D-s0zTI4&feature=related

Page had just replaced Jeff Beck prior to this recording - Page had been the bass player for some time while Beck played lead. Beck had replaced Eric Clapton, who walked out.
Page is playing the famous "Dragon telecaster", which he used when he formed the "New Yardbirds" after this band fell apart...They finished some tour dates, then changed the name to...Led Zeppelin.

1. I love it when
I don't even have to click the link to sing along with the song. It's like telepathic karaoke. Or sumpthin.

:hi:

7. I listen to this stuff every day and never get tired of it.
And, as important to me is the behind the scenes, which you aptly described. It's good to see someone who appreciates the history, the line-up changes as much as I do. K&R, my friend.

8. To me it isn't history, just stuff that happened when I was growing up...
I have almost no idea what music is like now - I just don't pay attention to it.
