2. Lucky bastard.
I so miss Culvers. There are few lunches I can think of which are better than a butter burger, fries and a coke, and maybe some frozen custard for dessert. I so miss living in Wisconsin.

4. All I know is that as soon as I find a fast food place I love...
I'll move somewhere they can't be found. I loved getting my White Castle fix for the brief time I lived in Indiana, then it was off to Wisconsin. There I found Culver (and a number of other local treats) and soon after I moved to Maryland. Now the most annoying thing I have to deal with is incessant commercials for Sonic, when there are none within a 75 mile radius of me :(. I suppose if I lived in Texas, I'd be eating far less fast food and instead seeking out all the best beef BBQ places.

6. You're not missing a thing with Sonic...
.
.
.
...except maybe decent, CHEAP milkshakes and slushes.
.
.
.
Their food is too mediocre to be called "bad".
.
.
.
OK,OK, I ocmmend them for preserving that great American
icon of carhop-on-rollerskates.
.
.
.
A friend of mine from B.C., Canada was just FLOORED by a
picture I sent her of one of them -- she had thought they
had only existed in the minds of Hollywood directors.

9. You're right about their food being mediocre.
It's really boring. I don't even care for their milkshakes. McDonald's even has a better chocolate shake than they do.

10. But McDonald's doesn't have pineapple shakes with real chunks of pineapple...

.
.
...NOR does it have chocolate malts!!!
.
.
.
.
.
.
Not to mention lemon-berry slushes with real strawberries!!!

11. I've had Sonic's pineapple shakes.
I think they used canned pineapple anyway. But there still didn't seem to be all that much flavor to them.

About the only thing I do stop there for are the slushes on a really hot day when I'm thirsty.

7. I just had my first Culver's burger last week.
It was OK.

I like Five Guys better--especially the MASSIVE amount of fries you get.
