I was rolling through Soyth Dakota the other day thinking how nice it would be to sleep in my truck without running the engine to run the a/c, and I'll be damned if I didn't think I was in Mississippi. I must have made a wrong turn somewhere. Then I noticed that there was nothing but barren land and no people for miles and miles and realized that I was indeed in South Dakota.
3. same here in Iowa. Our state climatologist made a strange statement
concerning the heat and humidity this summer. "We had the wettest June ever. We would have had severe flooding had it not been so hot. Much of the rain evaporated." And that is why it is so humid.
And Moscow is burning up and Pakistan is having their worst floods ever ......
