OMG is it humid out this evening here in Fargo!
The dew point is a sticky 74F, that fracking rainforest humidity! My glasses fogged up when I walked outside! EWW, EWW, EWW!

It's not supposed to get this humid here!

1. No shit!
I was rolling through Soyth Dakota the other day thinking how nice it would be to sleep in my truck without running the engine to run the a/c, and I'll be damned if I didn't think I was in Mississippi. I must have made a wrong turn somewhere. Then I noticed that there was nothing but barren land and no people for miles and miles and realized that I was indeed in South Dakota.

2. It's been disgustingly humid for almost 3 weeks, now.
Temperature-wise it hasn't been too bad, it's the humidity that is plain awful. It's also been very wet and rainy all summer. YUCK!

3. same here in Iowa. Our state climatologist made a strange statement
concerning the heat and humidity this summer.
"We had the wettest June ever. We would have had severe flooding had it not been so hot. Much of the rain evaporated."
And that is why it is so humid.

And Moscow is burning up and Pakistan is having their worst floods ever ......

6. Check the dew point, NOT the relative humidity.
If it's really hot out the RH can be 50% and it's still muggy as hell. Look at the dew point, if it's above 60F it's humid.

I live in Houston, been out and about all day.

What you need is a good straw hat, really works.
