Is there any way to know. We think the mix is 75% Lab and 25% golden but we have only seen the mother.

1. I would guess
at least 60 - 65 lbs.

I have a Norwegian Elkhound / Chow cross. He is 1year old now and weighs 70lbs.

3. that kind of mix
I've seen anywhere from 50-100 pounds. I don't know the significance of the weight at 8 weeks, I'm not a vet or a breeder, but I would stand by for a biggun

4. Probably no more than 70
Most Lab puppies are around 10 lbs at eight weeks of age and reach 50 lbs at around seven months of age.

5. No way to even guess. 8 weeks isn't a good checkpoint.
You could have a dog that will weigh 35 lbs or a dog that weighs 80. How big are the feet?

6. This article gives an equation @ 14 weeks , not 8, for approximate adult weight
<snip>
Take the weight of your medium to large mixed-breed puppy at 14 weeks and multiple it by 2. Halve the weight of your puppy at 14 weeks and add it to the total of the weight at 14 weeks multiplied by 2. For example, if your puppy weighs 20 pounds at 14 weeks multiple 20 by 2 to get 40 pounds. Add 10 pounds (1/2 of 20) to the 40 pounds. Your puppy's adult weight will be about 50 pounds.

7. Donno, but I'd never own a dog that took more than one baggie to hold the turd
That's my general rule.

9. With a lab and golden mix, you will have a smart, friendly,
generally happy dog of about 70 pounds...

10. we just lost our 70 pound boxer
so we are ready for that size. The mother seemed on the small side for a lab.

11. Look at his feet
I don't think you can accurately figure the full grown size but I've always found the feet to be a good predictor of large/medium/small. My Lab got to 115 lbs (not a shred of fat) and his feet at 10 weeks old were little tree stumps.

How big was mom?
