1. That's DOCTOR Brian May.
Earned a Ph.D. in Astrophysics by writing a thesis on black holes.

My kinda guy!! Guitarist and physics major!! Love it!

I say this because my guy is a guitarist (ever since the Beatles hit in'64) and his thing is gravito-magnetism which has since been proven (40 years after he came up with the idea) by Gravity Probe B.

Nothin' like living with a guy who stuck gravity into relativity but the rest of the world doesn't know about it (due to a shitty thesis advisor who said 'black holes don't exist' by the very appropriate name of "Moran").

2. The other day I was at Farmer's Market in LA heading
out toward the parking lot. Who was sitting near the exit enjoying lunch in anonymity among the tourists and little old lady locals - Brian May. He had signed books the previous day at Griffith Park Observatory. A true modern day, multi-talented Renaissance man.

4. It was everywhere, and there was no getting away from it
I'm probably a bigger fan of Paul Rodgers in Free than in Bad Company, but the biggest problem in both bands was weak material. Once you got past the greatest hits and FM radio favorites, both bands cranked out some of the worst album filler tracks in the history of rock.

Sometimes the lyrics were "groaners"...just poorly written. Other times, it was a three or four minute track built around a riff that wasn't strong enough to sustain it. I can't even listen to some of the Bad Company stuff these days. But "All Right Now" is one of those "Wayne's World Soundtrack" kinds of songs...it was everywhere, like it or not.
